'DaybrookMead' started with a humble vision: to introduce true Neapolitan pizza to London. Established by the Rossi kin in 1985, our little pizza shop began as a quaint, family-operated venture, boasting recipes passed down for generations.
Marco Rossi, the pioneer of our brand, picked up the craft of pizza creation on her Italian adventures, apprenticing with accomplished pizza chefs in Naples—the epicenter of pizza. When she came back to the UK, her mission was to replicate the enchantment of legitimate Italian pizza, employing ancestral techniques and selecting top-tier ingredients.
What started as a humble 12-seat pizza spot has expanded into a cherished pillar of the community, while our pledge to exceptional quality and genuine craftsmanship remains as strong as ever. We persist in using original wood-fired ovens, preparing our dough from scratch every day, and choosing the best ingredients available.
To this day, 'DaybrookMead' continues to be a family-managed operation, with the second generation of the Rossi family at the helm of our dedicated team. Though we've adopted some contemporary innovations, our core purpose persists: crafting scrumptious, traditional pizza that unifies our patrons.
